Catering Meals - We have been using Hamel's for a number of years and have had incredible service. They are friendly and accommodating. The food never disappoints us. The variety is excellent. I never worry if they are going to be on-time or if they even remember our order. I highly recommend them for your work functions.

Never Disappointed - We always use your catering service for every event we have for our Sisters of St. Joseph. Whether it's at Summit View or catered elsewhere, you always provide the most delicious food and excellent service. We have never been disappointed! Recently, we anticipated 100 people for a Memorial Buffet, but 130 individuals showed up. Your staff went above and beyond what was expected. They added tables and set places as if this were nothing! There was still plenty of food as well. You are amazing. I highly recommend this place for a day long business meeting, celebration or memorial gathering.

Exceeded our expectations!! - We recently moved out of state and came back to host a wedding shower and a 92nd birthday celebration for our daughter and my husband’s mother. ----- Our gathering was full of laughter and love — we played raffle and trivia games to get to know the wedding couple, and the kids had a blast creating a toilet paper wedding dress for our “bride.” Our model was wonderful! We also sang Happy Birthday to my husband’s mom, who proudly wore her tiara and sash for the occasion. ----- When we arrived at Hamel’s about an hour early to decorate, everything was already perfectly arranged — the tables were set up in our chosen colors, the raffle tables were in place, and even our last-minute requests for a projector and microphone were ready to go. The chef kindly prepared a plate for our grandson before guests arrived, and the entire staff was kind, efficient, and eager to help with every detail. We were thrilled with Hamel’s Catering back in 2021 when they exceeded our expectations with a beautiful venue and delicious food — and once again, in 2025, they did not disappoint!

Baby Shower - Everything was to our satisfaction. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. ----- We had the breakfast brunch, and the food was delicious. ----- It all went so smoothly. We couldn't have ask for a better venue to have the baby shower at. I will highly recommend your venue to family and friends. ----- Thank you for a beautiful day.  

Fantastic, professional and flexible!!! - The food was delicious, amazing value, and Cassie was an absolute joy to work with. We had a few food allergies and Hamels worked diligently to make sure they were plated correctly and sent to the right tables. Even modifying things a few days before the event! - If I could, I’d give them 10 stars out of 5!

Warm, Welcoming, and Wonderful! - We had a family celebration for 50 people. Your team, including grandmother/granddaughter pair were outstanding. We were greeted and treated special by the staff. The food was very good and displayed beautifully. The event was a positive memory for all. Thank you to the staff for being a part of it.

Amazing venue and out of this world staff - Cassie and the crew amazing from the day we started planning my daughter's wedding to the day of. Wedding was supposed to be outside but weather was not on our side. The staff brought everything in pouring rain and got everything set up. We never panicked because this staff was on everything. Food amazing. Definitely will recommend people coming here. There was not one thing I can say negative about this place and staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts on such an amazing day. You really made my daughter extremely happy with everything. I want to come here to renew my wedding vows with this amazing staff…

Would Recommend - Had a small reception and ceremony for my wedding last week. The staff was soooo helpful and friendly. Food was amazing no complaints from any of my guests.

From the very first day we toured Summit View, the staff were absolutely amazing. On September 6, 2025, we had both our wedding and reception there, and it truly exceeded every expectation. ----- Our original plan was to have the ceremony outside at the gazebo, but tornado warnings forced us to move everything inside just 30 minutes before our start time. Thanks to the incredible staff, we were still able to start on time and have the wedding of our dreams. They even ran out to the gazebo in the pouring rain to grab what we needed for our ceremony! ----- Throughout the night, the team was quick, attentive, and so kind — from making sure everyone had drinks to keeping everything running smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests loved it so much that every bit of leftovers was taken home! ----- We can’t recommend Summit View enough for anyone planning a wedding. The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff go above and beyond to make your day perfect — no matter what surprises come your way.

10/10 - Brides if you are looking for an affordable and beautiful venue with a great staff - this is the place you want to be. We just had our wedding at Summit View, and it was best possible experience. Cassie was incredibly helpful and kind through the whole planning process, and Abby and the staff were all so wonderful the night of the wedding. Guests raved about the food and service. 100% recommended!

We had our wedding at the Summit View on 10/12/24 and everything was absolutely PERFECT! We had a lovely outdoor ceremony at the gazebo and an indoor reception. Everything went smoothly and was better than we ever could have imagined. The Summit View staff were so attentive, and we felt so taken care of, and so did all of my guests and vendors. Even my photographer and DJ were overjoyed/pleased with how fantastic the staff at Summit View were. The food was also DELICIOUS, and everyone raved about the food. A special extra shout out to Abby, Tony & Cassie who helped us out so much along the way and especially the day of. Abby took such good care of us and oversaw the decor and made sure everything was just as we wanted. Tony also made sure we had 2 vegan plates of food for 2 of our guests, and our guests LOVED it. Seriously, their plates were clean, and they said it was 5-star quality food. Thank you, Summit View, for making our day so very special. Would recommend this place for any event, but especially affordable weddings!  

 Let's just say if I could give more stars I would!! - We got married 9/28/24 and did our reception and ceremony outside. Outside was what I really wanted and couldn't be happier. Abbie was amazing and got back to me right away and helped me with anything no questions asked. The food was amazing weeks later people are still raving about it! We decided to pay extra for the white table and chairs instead of the picnic tables, it was definitely worth it plenty of room! Everything was perfect and couldn't be happier  

Wedding Day - We catered our wedding food through Hamels and it was fantastic! The food was exceptional and so was the staff! 10/10 recommend!!

Just to let you know, we had a wonderful 50th NHS Reunion at The Northampton Country Club on 10/11/25. The servers; Natalie , Max and Aliza were amazing. Their concern and service was impeccable. Another Great Catered Event - Thank you for making our annual BBQ a success. Because of your staff's hard work, I have a lot of very happy people. Excellent Catering! - I would 1000% recommend Hamels Creative Catering! They did an outstanding job — everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. They are extremely professional and experienced, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. I had multiple touchpoints with Tony, and we did several tastings to fine-tune the menu exactly to what I wanted. They were so flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process. My Wedding - I just wanna say the whole process booking , creating the table set up , and food choices was so smooth and easy . Everyone was so helpful and stress free. The day of the wedding I didn’t have to think about the catering. They came in and took care of everything with worry on my mind. The waitresses that took care of me and my husband at dinner were absolutely amazing! At the end of the night there was a point I was worried about packing up things and my cake , to look over and see it was all taken care of for me !!! Absolutely amazing experience!!! The staff were absolutely amazing. I only recall the names of Edie and Mason, but I know there were others. They continually checked in to see if there was anything they could do to help throughout our set up. During event, they also checked in to see how things were going and if there was anything else needed. They were responsive, attentive, accommodating and so helpful. Those in attendance loved the venue and the food. It was a special day and was made even more special due to caring and professional staff. Thank you so much!!!!

Daughter’s Jack & Jill - Our experience for my daughter’s Jack & Jill at Hamels and the Summit View was absolutely amazing. From the day that I booked the venue to the actual event, the staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this venue and will definitely book them again in the future.

Offsite wedding catering! Well organized, responsive, great food! - People would not stop RAVING about how good the food was! I booked Hamels/Summit View to cater my off-site wedding, and they were absolutely amazing, they exceeded my expectations! The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, arrived early to set up, needed little to no direction, they were absolutely on top of it and made it run smoothly! Even the other vendors commented on how organized they are! Our coordinator loved working with them, they were super sweet, proactive and absolutely on top of everything! The fan favorites were the spinach dip, mini-Ruben’s and the chicken parm! I personally won’t stop talking about the spinach dip. We ended up with a bunch of leftover food, the staff packed it all up, labeled it and left it for us. It was all very well organized; I really can’t say enough good things about them! The pricing is also fantastic; we ended up doing the grazing table for cocktail hour and it was absolutely stunning and a massive hit! I would recommend them to anyone getting married! They offer such a variety of food in their packages for a reasonable price!

80th Birthday Bash! Aug. 16th, 4:00-8:00 PM - From the moment I walked in the front door of Summitview, I was totally impressed with how gorgeous the room looked and how professional, friendly and helpful the wait staff was. They introduced themselves and asked if there was anything they could do to be more accommodating. After dinner, when clearing dishes in the dining room, they were totally unobtrusive , never interrupting table conversations. Speaking of food, I was so impressed with the time it must have taken to prepare all the hot appetizers (coconut chicken and stuffed mushrooms) which were so delicious , and the mouthwatering meal which all my guests raved about. Everything was perfect. Please share this note with all staff, kitchen and wait, who were part of a very successful event. Thank you all.

AMAZING experience with Hamel’s! - I cannot say enough great things about Hamel’s catering services! My husband and I hosted a backyard BBQ baby shower for ourselves, and our caterers truly made the party so special. We had a griller and a server and they were simply amazing. Great service, great food, great people overall!! Would definitely recommend booking them for your next event!

Wedding 8/15/25. Would definitely recommend! - My wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything I could’ve dreamed of. The staff was great, the food was amazing, and the venue is beautiful. I would absolutely recommend to anyone else that is looking for a wedding venue. we had so many compliments on the food and how cute the pavilion was. Most people don’t even know this space is here. Compared to other venues that we checked out this was very reasonably priced. We were able to stay within budget and have a great day.

Evening wedding in July - My daughter and her fiancé wanted a DIY wedding in a casual venue, but one with character and charm, and the Pavilion at Summit View gave us all that and more! I first visited the venue in January and had my worries. But by early summer, the landscaping, both natural and planted, were lush and beautiful, the Pavilion was scrubbed clean, and all the mini-lights hung from the rafters created the perfect aesthetic for an evening wedding. Cassie was so easy to work with. She has been managing weddings at SV for so many years, there isn't much she hasn't seen or done. She offered a great deal of flexibility in the menu with add-ons and substitutions, and offered many suggestions to customize it just the way Helen and Adam wanted it. Because this was a DIY wedding with all the decorating set up by the bridal party, family and friends, we rented the Pavilion for the entire day. The relatively small additional cost was absolutely worth it. Cassie made sure the crew was there at 9 am to arrange the tables and get the basic linens on so we could do our work.  --------------- And I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly the staff were, both during our morning set-up, the wedding itself, and clean-up afterward. I was expecting that the wedding party would be completely responsible for breaking down all the decorations entirely on our own. I was happily surprised by the huge help from the staff even though they had their own work to clean up the food and beverage service. And they gave their help with big smiles and open hearts. I was the last to leave at the end of the night, and they made sure I was safely in my car.  --------------- The bride and groom selected a menu that was basically comfort food (because that's what they like), and it was beautifully prepared and served. Also, instead of a traditional large wedding cake, a friend baked a small wedding cake for the couple, and SV provided an assortment of delicious cupcakes, cannoli's, and cookies. I highly recommend this approach for ease and variety of desserts (not everyone loves wedding cake).  --------------- The casual yet festive nature of the Pavilion allows couples to dress up the venue as much (or as little) as they want and it will still be a fun party! We have had so many guests tell us what a fun night they had because it was relaxed, casual, decorated with our own special touches, and the Pavilion by its nature makes that possible. We couldn't have had a better wedding!

Hamel's made planning for our company picnic a breeze! We simply picked a menu, and they did the rest! We used the pavilion and surrounding area to host our annual Employee Summer BBQ. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing! They made the whole event stress free and i was able to enjoy the day with the rest of the company! We will be back for our next event!

Thanks to everyone we encountered on phone and in person for making our family reunion a resounding success! We had people from CA, Maine, NC, TX - from far and wide - who all gave lavish reviews on staff, event space, food, and bar. The staff the day of reunion was exceptional - we didn’t know leftover food was ours-some attendees took some, the leftovers were donated to Springfield Rescue Mission and they were delighted. So isn’t that wonderful - the food didn’t get wasted! Again, thank you all-we will highly recommend you and hopefully we too shall use your services again.

Simply amazing!! - We used Hamels Catering for my grandsons graduation and they were beyond amazing! Our servers were on time, set up everything, bussed tables, served food, cleaned up everything and were simply the BEST! Their communication was spot on and everything went so smoothly. Cannot recommend Summit View highly enough. Cassie and the rest of the staff went way above and beyond to accommodate and assist all of our needs, as well as providing suggestions where we requested them. We had 0 experience with wedding planning or any large event planning at all, and felt very overwhelmed going into the process. Cassie and the rest of the staff filled in the gaps throughout and made us so much more comfortable. They accommodated every request/specification we had, and also took anything off our plates that we asked them to and took care of it all. The decorations were assembled beautifully, the on-site catering (Hamel's Creative Catering) was delicious, and all staff were beyond helpful, professional and friendly. Would highly recommend Summit View for any wedding, or any other event where professional services are needed. 1000/10!

Our wedding at the Summit View was absolutely amazing! Staff were responsive and accommodating and made everything much easier and less stressful. This is the 2nd time we have used Hamel's for our company events. I am hooked on them, will be using for our next event. The staff they send to serve us is 5 Stars, Polite, Attentive to all 100 of my employees needs, and the Food and Presentation is Amazing. When they leave everything is cleaned up as if nothing ever took place. Its a Pleasure working with a company that cares about its customers needs.

I recently had the pleasure of using Hamel's Catering service, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the quality of the food to the setup, everything was handled with professionalism and care. The food was delicious, and all the guests raved about it. The presentation was also excellent, making the meal visually appealing. The setup provided by Hamel's was also top-notch. The team ensured that the venue was arranged perfectly, creating a welcoming and functional space for the event. The attention to detail was evident, and it significantly contributed to the overall success of the occasion. A special mention must go to the server, Nate. Nate was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly throughout the event. He went above and beyond to ensure that all guests were well taken care of. His positive attitude and willingness to assist made a significant difference in the overall experience.

The Holyoke Revolver club honored all of the member volunteers who are instrumental in the club’s success with a fun filled banquet/picnic. Upon arrival the pavilion was clean and table cloths nicely secured. Alexis, the go to person on site ( all night ) was quick to greet me and discuss the timing on dinner and helped with tables for checking people in and displays for the raffle prizes. The cash bar was well stocked, but the keg beer needed a little time to run correctly. Dinner could not have been better. We chose the beef and chicken skewers which were amazing along with several sides. I gave compliments to the grill chef! Clean up went well as Alexis closed out the evening with two other co workers. Our Volunteers Reward picnic was a huge success and everyone had a great time! Thank you Hamel’s staff.

Our bridal shower event was so easy with the help of Hamel's catering. I worked with Cassie over a year ago to book the date for the event, from day one she was helpful and professional. We kept in touch over the last year adding details and finishing touches to the menu. We had two wonderful servers, Nate and Arnie who knew exactly how to set up the venue to make the space and traffic pattern convenient for the guests. As this was an outdoor venue which is also open to the public, they were very adaptable to the challenges that could occur. They were both very professional and fun to work with. We had ample food and I was able to have some gluten free options for lunch and dessert.

The catering staff was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating to our schedule. All of our reception guests raved about the food, and the charcuterie spread got lots of compliments. Everything looked and tasted wonderful!

This summit view was absolutely perfect for our wedding! They were so incredibly helpful from planning, to rehearsal, to ceremony, to reception, and beyond! The staff was absolutely incredible- especially Cassie, Abbie, Lexie, and Alicia! Every single one of them truly made sure that our day was perfect in every way- even when it was down pouring! The food was amazing and everyone raved about everything! I would do it 1000x over with the summit view!

Phenomenal, outstanding, perfection! My husband and I had our wedding reception here on 5/10/25. The staff—so welcoming, friendly and helpful! Cassie was extremely accommodating in showing us different wedding packages and continuously providing information we needed to make our best financial decision. All communication, with Cassie and all the staff was clear and prompt— whether phone calls, emails or meeting in person— all of our questions were answered. Most people would think there is stress leading up to the wedding but the staff here made it all feel like a breeze, there was no doubt we would be well taken care of! After deciding on this venue we had our tasting! Wow! Humongous portions of mouth-watering foods. I’m Italian and my husband is Portuguese— both sides can eat and both sides can be critical on what is good food—after the tasting we knew everyone would be happy and well-fed!! When it came to our day, it was so simple to drop off what needed to be set up the day before. We had centerpieces, some decorations, and other little things that we wanted set up, and when we arrived everything was done exactly as we had explained. The day of, the staff was hustling to be there for him and I and make sure we had everything we needed. The staff, and our head waitress Lexi, worked seamlessly with our DJ and photographer. Even the bartender was so thoughtful and added specialty drinks for us based on our theme! The bartender was so kind, the bar itself is beautiful and that’s the room with all the food! Pretty chandeliers and bright room with easy access to outside! The outside area is lovely with several places to take photos. The staff saved prime parking for the wedding party but all parking is easy access and no walk to the venue itself. Inside the ballroom area with the dance floor— it is cozy yet elegant. The table settings are tasteful, the tables and chairs match the carpets and all other room accessories. I’ve literally never left a review for anything before but I could go on and on about how amazing Summit View/Hamel’s Creative Catering is. There was not a snag in our day. It was truly more than what I could of ever imagined. We cannot express how grateful we are!!!

We had our daughter’s nursing grad party at the Summit View and as always the food and service was exceptional!

I just had my bridal shower at Summit View and it was perfect. The communication was very great, and everything was set up perfectly. The staff was so helpful when I needed to make some changes to the room set up as well. Everyone was so nice and fun to be with as well! Food was great as always 🙂

Hamels/Summit View did an amazing job for this event, which was a celebration of life for a friend who died unexpectedly. The compassion, flexibility, and friendliness shown by everyone was amazing. The team prepared a great barbecue, Lexi was on top of everything throughout the afternoon, and touched base with me throughout the event to make sure everything was going according to plan - which it was. This is my third event at the Summit House, although the first that I had hosted, and each event has been progressively better. I highly recommend Hamels and the Summit View, and I hope that I have an opportunity for another event soon! We are truly grateful for the exceptional service and attention to detail.

The corned beef was tender, flavorful, and an absolute hit with our guests! The menu was thoughtfully designed to appeal to both kids and adults, ensuring that everyone had plenty of delicious options. Our 280 guests are still raving about the meal, and we couldn't be more grateful for the role Hamel's played in making our event a success. Absolutely amazing all around I can’t say enough about Cassie, Alexis, & Tony at Summit View. They were all amazing and very attentive. Amazing food with amazing prices My husband and I chose Hamel's Creative catering for our wedding this June and could not have been happier. They communicated so well and have amazing options to choose from. They ended up helping set up most of our décor and place setting as we had an outdoor reception, and they did the most beautiful job doing so. Not seeing the tables until you arrive can be nerve racking but they worked tirelessly all day to make sure everything was perfect. They were there long before the reception and stayed after to put dishes away and clean them for us. The servers themselves were so friendly and on top of everything! As for the food, our guests kept saying how great everything was and I could not agree more! Not only that, but their portions are amazing (we ended up bringing home so many leftovers!). We even had a charcuterie grazing table that they ended up loading more than I thought they would for options which was so beautifully done! The service of the staff, and the quality and quantity of the food is outstanding for the price. I would highly recommend Hamels for a wedding or event.

We hosted our wedding there over Memorial Day weekend and all the way from the planning stages to the execution of the event to even the clean up process Tony and his team really went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. The food was INCREDIBLE and can understand why they have been rated #1 by MassLive year over year but also the fact that it was hot all the way through dinner service! We were able to get in the day of at 8am to setup and between Tony, the cooks, and the servers/bartenders everyone made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Thats top notch hospitality in my book. I don’t think we could’ve lifted a finger if we tried to without someone being right there to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Tony and your amazing crew for making our wedding special. You guys really went above and beyond for us and for that we are truly thankful.

Brenda and the entire staff were there for us from beginning to the end. The food was excellent and we received nothing but praise from all our guests regarding it. The only complaint from guests was that they ate too much and couldn't dance as much as they wanted because they were full!. Highly recommend them for future weddings.

For our casual event, we opted for banquet-style serving—our guests loved it because they could graze all night long! The Hamel’s team smoothly transitioned from appetizers to entrees to desserts. The team on-site at our event was just the best! They managed to be attentive and professional, while at the same time friendly and unobtrusive. It’s worth mentioning that it rained pretty much the whole evening, and the Hamel’s team was in and out of the weather all night long—they took it in stride! The food was absolutely delicious—we heard wonderful comments from our guests. I highly recommend Hamel’s.

They are for the most part a great option financially. They were very kind with every encounter. Staff was excellent, we worked with Cassie and Tony and both were absolutely great! They made everything easy to understand. Weddings are stressful enough so having a good venue is key. Definitely happy we chose summit view.

Catered our wedding last Sat 8.5.23. Delivery on time. Very professional service. The food was fantastic, Our guests were impressed at the quality. We had it catered for 50 but I think it would have easily fed 75. Multiple guests took food home and we are still eating the leftovers two days later. Chicken cordon bleu, Yankee pot roast and stuffed shells (which were huge) were all excellent. Many comments on the quality of the salad too. Thank you Hamel's for doing such a good job.

Summit view was just what we were looking for our wedding! Brenda Lee was amazing and helped us through figuring out our wedding. She was very responsive. They recently added an archway and it was a beautiful location for the ceremony. The staff was very professional and helpful. The food was delicious, everyone loved it. The place to start is obviously the quality of the food. I think there is no better confirmation that the food is fantastic then when guests come up to you or at your wedding to ask about the food. We had multiple people approach us interested in utilizing hamels in the future because of how good the food was. However, for my wife and I, what really stood out was their flexibility. We had to make a few last minute changes in the final two weeks and the folks at Hamels were more then willing to accommodate. Professional does not do them justice. On-site all the staff were wonderfully friendly offering to make my wife and I plates for later when they realized we slowly would not have time to eat. In final, if we were to get married again there is no caterer we would rather use. They were exceptional.

I’m happy to leave a good review for this catering company. They, very happily, catered our daughter's wedding for 75 guests on just 2 months' notice. They were quick with all the details and helped with suggestions for everything we needed. I will continue to recommend them to all my friends and acquaintances.

Throughout my planning Brenda was super responsive and helpful. I didn’t know what I was doing half the time as a new bride, but Brenda was extremely kind and patient and helpful. The day of my wedding was amazing. The grounds for the ceremony were beautiful, and inside for the reception everything was set up exactly how I wanted it. Every single guest raved about the food and Chef Tony came to check on us multiple times throughout the night. The waitstaff was incredible and so attentive! Not Only do they have beautiful property for inside or outside weddings and really good food, Brenda Lee is so amazing to work with. long story short, we planned on doing our wedding on their grounds but universe had other plans for me and my now husband. I emailed Brenda and told her we had to pull out, i was expecting to lose my deposit of 1,000. She asked me what was going on and if we still would like to do catering with them and use our deposit towards food for our now DIY picnic wedding. That food was delish. I would recommend them to anyone.

It has been great to enjoy it with friends all over again. The service on the day of was also exceptional! They setup all the place settings and any tables where food was served, and even lit candles that we had in the tent during cocktail hour for us. They knew were were busy with guests and made plates for my husband and I too. They also cut the cake and put that out for guests. Brenda was very helpful in the booking and planning process. The only issue we had was we received some last minute info that caused an extra cost on table cloths. Because our venue has different sized tables, the standard table cloths that came with the package would've looked inconsistent throughout the tent so to make them all consistently full length it was an extra cost per table cloth, and we didn't find this out until about 2 weeks before the wedding. So just recommend asking these types of questions early on so you are aware, but overall definitely recommend booking Hamel's for any of your catering needs.

The staff was amazing and super nice. The food was also very delicious! The only negative thing I can possibly think of was the communication leading up to the wedding was a little rough. But not bad enough to change my review from 5 stars. The day of the wedding everything went perfectly and the food was amazing.

The staffs were amazing, very helpful and willing to work with you. Our day was perfect, we wish the ceremony set up was better as we want everyone facing up front and we had everyone sitting down but overall, it was amazing. The food was great and delicious!

It was so delicious! We chose the chicken cordon bleu and the yankee pot roast and our guests were raving about it! Not only was the food and presentation beautiful, the staff was wonderful. They were so attentive and let me know what was happening every step of the way. Hamel's allowed me to customize my social hour selections and did a charcuterie board for me and it was so gorgeous! It really was eye catching and our guests were thrilled about it. Thank you so much to the Hamel's team for all your hard work to make our wedding so awesome!

Brenda Lee was a great help, "hand holding," throughout the process. She gently offered suggestions and options to the many things we didn't know about and was always an email or phone call away. I can't say enough about our experience, It far exceeded our expectations and the cost was very fair compared to other places we looked at. Loved Summit View’s pavilion and gazebo, had our ceremony and reception all in one place. Beautiful lawns for photos and lawn games, the staff were terrific, and Hamel’s Catering provided a great buffet that everyone really enjoyed.

The Summit View made my wedding day so perfect outside in the pavilion! Setting up all the center pieces perfectly and all the other stuff. The staff was so helpful, efficient and the sweetest. We had a backyard wedding reception. On our wedding day, the entire staff made sure everything went off without a hitch! Cam was wonderful. I would highly recommend Hamels Catering! The sales staff were very easy to work with, the menu was very flexible, the catering staff were so friendly, the servings were generous and the meal was absolutely delicious! So many of my guests were so impressed with the food! Dozens made comments about how great it was! We had the swordfish, steak, chicken, tortellini salad, corn chowder and more! YUM! It was all so good! My guests from out of state were upset that they live so far away! They wanted to use them for their upcoming events!

I did some looking around and found Summit View, and they had our wedding date available so I booked that day. Brenda was so kind, professional, and a huge help to a bride who was freaking out due to massive plans changing so soon before the day. She was so accommodating to making sure out day was going to work out the way we hoped, and made sure I was on track every step of the way. Brenda was incredibly responsive and never skipped a beat at helping us plan the perfect day for my clients. No one would have known when it said scattered showers expected that and it was actually going to be torrential downpours with flash flooding. Under our tent basically turned into a mud pit and our servers were absolutely amazing and worked so hard even though they were enduring a torrential downpour. I couldn't believe how kind they were, and how they kept it together despite the circumstances! 10/10 recommend!

Covid hit and we had to cancel. We were so upset that we couldn’t have all the people who mean the world to us come to our big day. We ended up having a wedding of 38 people and I wouldn’t change it. Down to every detail. Hamels Creative Catering was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Brenda helped us to choose our menu and work out all of the fine details. We went with the deluxe buffet option. The company went above and beyond to appreciate the stress of our situation and truly wanted to make it special. The delivery and set up were on time and so smooth we barely noticed they were there. We had tons of leftovers which was amazing bc we definitely did not want to cook for the few days after the wedding. Excellent value!! Our guests loved the food and went back for seconds.... and thirds... ! We will be working with Hamels again soon!

My husband and I are very happy we held our wedding reception at Summit View -- their team was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the food was fantastic. We discovered Summit View after cancelling our first venue after a bad tasting, and it was so refreshing to meet Tony Basile, the Executive Chef and GM. It's clear that he cares very much about serving his guests a great food experience, and he absolutely delivered. We appreciate the challenge of preparing food in large quantities, and we were blown away by the tenderness of the meats, the quality of the vegetables, and the flexibility in serving our more dietarily restricted guests. For reference, we went with the Grand Wedding Buffet, which was more than plenty of food for everyone -- the husband and I will be happily eating leftovers for days. The rest of the banquet team was an absolute treat to work with. Our coordinator was a woman named Brenda, who has a great deal of experience organizing events and especially weddings, and it shows. We met her for the first time a few weeks before the wedding, and immediately I felt much more confident about how our reception would go. She was very familiar with our florist, cake guy, and DJ, and she helped us make decisions about decor and set up. Brenda is also fantastically organized and incredibly responsive; she always responded before I scheduled follow-up emails or phone calls, and her answers were always very detailed. Brenda wasn't there for the actual reception, but the banquet team was well equipped and very happy to serve us. (Shout-out to Abbie, Kayle, and Kylie; and apologies for any misspellings.) I didn't get a chance to go over the specific set up for the decor that we had prepared, but between Brenda and the team, they did a brilliant job of making the hall *ours*. My husband and I visited very briefly, before the wedding craziness had fully kicked off, and there was nothing that needed tweaking or rearranging. During the reception itself, the team ensured that we were well fed and well-watered, and they went above and beyond to keep our guests happy. (One of our guests shared a story of an impromptu tea party that was set up for a precocious four-year-old and her friend, and I saw some of our guests head over to the bar to check in on the Bruins game.) We can't recommend Summit View enough for similar events. We had such a good time! For the curious, the dance floor in the banquet hall is 19" x 12", and we had 57 guests (not including ourselves). The banquet hall can handle at least 2-2.5 times as many people, and there is also an outdoor pavilion. It happened to be the case that were was another event happening at the same time as our reception, in the pavilion, and we didn't hear a thing in the banquet hall.

Our wedding day/celebration was absolutely stunning. I met with Brenda Lee just to look at pricing and to take a peek at the Pavilion, I was greeted with so much warmth, the staff was very kind and attentive. We booked our Wedding Reception with Hamels Creative Catering at The Summit View Banquet House and they really did a phenomenal job!! I dropped off my decorations the day of, and told them my thoughts... and they exceeded my expectations!! The service staff was amazingly attentive, and the food was fantastic... our guest kept raving about it all night! They are also very reasonable on the budget, and have several options to choose from. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone in need of a banquet hall or catering service. I cannot even begin to describe how fantastic Hamel's Creative Catering was! The menu selection is fantastic... everyone wanted second and third helpings of the vegetable lasagna, and not even the vegetarians! I told my husband we need to find an excuse to have them cater an event again soon. The value? Nothing compares! They could easily charge more for the quality of the food and service. FANTASTIC!

Venue was beautiful when decorated, and very affordable. Seats 150 sit-down dinner and 200 buffet. The food was amazing. Great bartenders as well. The only drawback, they are very picky about what kind of candleholders/candles you use. They didn't inform me of this beforehand so I was allowed to use the ones I supplied.
